IT Workforce Accelerator

Thanks to funding from the Good Jobs Challenge grant program by the U.S. Economic Development Administration, many employers and individuals can access this unique training at little to no cost to them!

This comprehensive program supports companies, institutions, and nonprofit organizations by equipping employees with cutting-edge, industry-relevant technology training. From artificial intelligence and advanced programming to networking, cybersecurity, healthcare IT, and smart manufacturing, participants gain practical, in-demand expertise that maps directly to emerging workforce needs right here in Central Illinois.

Whether employers are looking to upskill current employees or attract new talent, the IT Workforce Accelerator provides solutions that work. Pathway programs are flexible and adaptable, with individual courses ranging from focused two-day bootcamps to six-month specialty courses, all while being delivered in formats that suit diverse learners including self-paced online modules, blended hybrid courses, or in-person sessions for hands-on experience.

New Course Offerings in 2025

The IT Workforce Accelerator now offers over 10 specialized program pathways, each designed to produce job-ready talent with the skills companies need most. Every pathway includes preparation for multiple industry-recognized certifications, so employees gain the credentials that add immediate value in the workplace.

For organizations seeking a more immersive solution, apprenticeship options are also available providing a proven way to build a stronger IT workforce through hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world application of skills. With flexible pathways and credentialed outcomes, the IT Workforce Accelerator helps employers develop talent pipelines that are both adaptable and future-focused.
