Apply for Your Degree or Certificate
To apply, log into your MyICC account, select “Academics” from the menu and “Apply for/View Degree or Cert.” Learn more about applying to graduate with your degree or certificate.
You are only eligible to apply for the program of study in which you are enrolled. If you need to add a program of study or change your program of study, please Update Your Program of Study.
Illinois Central College confers degrees and certificates at the end of Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. You must apply for commencement prior to the deadline for your final semester.

Commencement
Planning to graduate? Be sure to complete these important steps:
Commencement Participation
If you are eligible to graduate, you’ll receive an invitation to participate in the Commencement Ceremony via your student email.
Participation in the Commencement Ceremony does not automatically ensure you’ve earned a degree or certificate. Once final grades are posted, degrees and certificates are verified to be conferred as soon as possible following the ceremony. Diplomas will be mailed to the student after all final grades are posted.
Purchase Your Cap & Gown
You can pre-order your cap and gown at the East Peoria Campus Bookstore. Pre-order packages can be picked up in April or May 2026. If you did not pre-order, a limited supply of caps and gowns is available for purchase.

Application for your Degree or Certificate
To apply, log into your MyICC account and under “Academics” select “Apply for/View Degree or Cert”.
You are only eligible to apply for the program of study in which you are enrolled. If you need to add a program of study or change your program of study, please complete a Change of Program of Study form.
Diplomas are mailed to the student’s address on file. Addresses can be updated through the “My Information” section of the MyICC mobile app or the “General Info” tab in MyICC.
Diploma Reprints
Need a reprint of your diploma? Diplomas can be reprinted at a cost of $25 each. Diploma reprints will be included in our regular diploma printing in January, July, and September. Your diploma(s) will be mailed via USPS and sent to the address you provide on the order form.
